FAQ — Always Bin Cleaner

Question 1

What exactly do you clean?

Accepted Answer

We clean your green bin (organics/compost bin) — the one that gets truly disgusting over time. We pressure wash the inside and outside with biodegradable, non-toxic cleaning solution, leaving it sanitized and smelling fresh.

Question 2

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

The actual cleaning takes about 20-30. You don't need to be home — just leave your bin at the curb on your scheduled day and we'll take care of it.

Question 3

Is the cleaning solution safe for kids and pets?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We use biodegradable in 28 days, non-toxic cleaning products that are safe for your family, your pets, and the environment.

Question 4

Do I need to empty my bin first?

Accepted Answer

Yes — your bin should be empty before we arrive. On collection day, your bin is already emptied by the municipality, so scheduling your clean for the same day or the day after works perfectly. Special requests can be accommodated with partially filled bins.

Question 5

What if my bin is really, really bad?

Accepted Answer

That's literally why we exist. No bin is too far gone. Heavily soiled bins may take a bit more time, but we'll get it done. No judgment — we've seen it all.

Question 6

Where do you operate?

Accepted Answer

We serve the Corridor — Central Nova Scotia's connected communities including Truro, Bible Hill, Millbrook, Brookfield, Stewiacke, Enfield, and Elmsdale. Not sure if you're in our zone? Reach out and we'll let you know.

Question 7

Are you expanding to other areas?

Accepted Answer

We're starting with the Corridor and growing from there. If you're just outside our current zone, join the waitlist anyway — we'll notify you as soon as we expand to your area.

Question 8

Do you service rural properties?

Accepted Answer

We do our best to reach rural addresses within the Corridor. If you're on a rural route, join the waitlist and we'll confirm coverage when we get in touch.

We've got answers.
